Assistant Men's Team Coach

Boys & Girls Team Coaches Needed in Oregon

Metro Gymnastics Center, Inc. is currently looking for a Men's Head Coach and a Women's assistant coach for its competitive team programs as well as a Boys Recreational Director. Must have a positive approach and willing to be a team player who is excited to work with children of all ages and levels. Organizational, planning and communication skills are required. Applicant must also be Safe Sport certified, professional member of USA Gymnastics and pass background checks.

Compensation will be based on applicants’ willingness and desire to bring multiple skill sets to the table and pay will be commensurate with these skill sets. This can be a full time or part time position depending on applicants desires.

Co- Head Coach/ Men’s Program Director

North Coast Gymnastics in Bellingham Wa is looking to add to add a Co- Head Coach/ Men’s Program Director to our competitive team coaching staff.

Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of young athletes? North Coast Gymnastics Academy is looking for a dedicated, driven, inspirational, team player to add as our Mens Gymnastics Program. North Coast Gymnastics Academy has a competitive men's team program beginning with pre-team through JO levels 4-10. Our program was awarded best small team of the year in 2015 and in 2016 our boys team coaches were awarded the compulsory team coaches award for the state of Washington.

Responsibilities and Duties
Minimum 1- year team commitment
Lesson planning and collaborating with co- coach
Ability to spot and lift 50 lbs. or more
Attend and coach all scheduled practices and meets, as well as extra activities for team
Assist with training of new men's team staff for recreational and competitive program
Attend a minimum of 1 yearly off-site training (Congress or other)
Attend and run monthly meetings/trainings with men's recreational and team coaches
Must be available some weekends for meets and training's 

Qualifications and Skills
Coaching experience. Mentorship and or teaching experience
Current knowledge of Men’s program requirements or ability to learn them within 30 days of hire
Current USAG professional member (or able to become one within 30 days of hire)
Reports to and works with Team Program Director for both Men's and Women's competitive programs


Benefits
Sick time, vacation and yearly bonuses 
20+ hours a week. Full time possible for right candidate
Wage: $16.00 to $25.00/ hr. DOE
